While working on a future Apple/Netflix film studio set we created an upside-down tension system to completely pull down the main structural frame of the studio. We accomplished this demanding task by running a DIVI bar down to the floor where it was held in between a goal post like design, bolted to the floor. In between this were hollow jacks that ran through the bar held together by a nut and plate. This system that we crafted follows the same principle of tensioning; however, it follows the unique ability to tension upside down. This method ensured a controlled process of pulling the whole frame of the building to be pulled downwards into the correct position, saving the customer hundreds of thousands in redesigning costs.
